Social Media Assistant
Smoke Break is a short film by Lisa Maarek, a student at Florida International University.
The film started production in the Spring of 2025, with principle photography taking place during May 2025. After completing the film, itentered its festival run in Fall 2026. It has played several festivals, such as Citrus Circuit Film Fest, NDX, and Orange and Blue Film Fest
As a social media assistant, Daniel Leverette helped with marketing by creating content calendars with scheduled content, while coordinating with a marketing director to ensure quick turnaround times for short-form video and graphics. He worked alongside photographers on the project to organize content for socials on a same-day basis.
